Akron Beacon Journal (OH) Kathryn E. Drummond, 49, went home to be with the Lord Oct. 6, 1997. Mrs. Drummond was a homemaker, born in Akron, and lived most of her life in the Tallmadge area. She was a member of the Community of Believers Church, and was also an Avon representative. Her life was a testimony of her love for people and her Lord Jesus Christ. She ministered as a womens counselor, Sunday School teacher, youth group leader, and opened her home to un-wed mothers, alcoholics, and many other people in need. She was a loving wife, mother and friend, and was a wonderful example of a Proverbs 31 woman. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband, Jerry E.; daughters, Amber Drummond of Champaign, III., Erin Drummond of Tallmadge; her parents, W. Robert and Agnes Prulhiere of Texas; sisters, Cheryl Flatt of Texas, and Jan Turnbull of Tallmadge; brothers, Robert and James Prulhiere, both of Texas. Celebration of life service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at the Community of Believers Church, 2543 State Road, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, with Pastor Tom Bloom officiating. Burial at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Hennessy-Bagnoli Funeral Home, 339 Southwest Ave., from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Athletes in Action, 552 Green Meadow Dr., Tallmadge, Ohio 44278. Kathy is no longer with us.
